About the RoleWe are hiring Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants with acute care experience in Emergency Medicine, Urgent Care, Internal Medicine, or Family Medicine who are comfortable working both independently and alongside Dispatch Health Medical Technicians (DHMTs) to deliver comprehensive, patient‑centered care in the home. The ideal candidate uses strong critical‑thinking skills, followsevidence‑based standards of practice, proactivelyidentifiesand solves problems, adheres to all clinical and safety standards, protocols, and performance metrics, and consistently provides care with compassion, empathy, and cultural competency.

- 2shifts per week, including1weekendshift(Saturday/Sunday)
- 1:1 patient ratio: see 7-10 patients per shift

- Deliver in‑home acute and high‑acuity care
- Perform comprehensivehealthassessments,and diagnose and treat mildto complexillnesses
- Analyze test data to diagnose,treatand arrangeappropriatefollow-upfor the patient to ensure continuity of care.
- Provide procedures including suturing, splinting, wound care, and IV therapy
- Order and interpret point‑of‑care diagnostics and imaging
- Educate patients and families on treatment and follow‑up care
- Navigate goals‑of‑care and end‑of‑life conversations as needed
- Document accurately and adhere to clinical standards
- Current, unrestricted NP or PA license in the state of practice
- Minimum of two years of experience as an APP in the Emergency Department, Urgent Care, Internal Medicine, Hospital, Family Practice, Cardiac,Pulmonaryor other relevant areas
- National board certification (current)
- Current BLS / ACLS certification
- Prescriptive authority and DEA(or abilityto obtain within
60 daysof hire;assistanceprovided) - Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
Continued employment is contingent uponmaintainingan acceptable driving recordin accordance with company policy and insurer requirements. - Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays
