Responsibilities of the Quality Assurance Specialist include, but are not limited to:
- Review test plans, test cases, requirements, functional and design documents, and ensure accuracy and alignment with acceptance criteria.
- Plug into software testing activities following Agile-based methodologies, collaborating closely with Design and Development teams.
- Analyze and translate functional business requirements from stakeholders into detailed tasks for Design and Development teams.
- Lead the implementation of quality control (QC) practices across all projects, ensuring adherence to defined acceptance criteria.
- Ensure expert-level understanding and application of SDLC best practices throughout the development lifecycle.
- Serve as an Agile practitioner, applying Agile methodologies to drive efficient and effective project delivery.
- Assist in ISO internal audits and compliance checks to ensure programs operate in accordance with internal and corporate QC guidelines.
- Conduct thorough research and analysis to identify potential improvements and optimize quality processes.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and quickly adapt to learn new technologies as required.
- Thrive in a collaborative team environment, contributing to a positive and motivated work culture.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, efficiently multitasking and moving them forward

- Applicant must be a permanent resident or citizen of the United States and clearable for Public Trust clearance with the U.S Government.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience as a Quality Assurance Analyst.
- Strong ability to analyze and translate functional business requirements into detailed tasks.
- Strong testing skills.
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Expert-level understanding of SDLC and best practices.
- Agile practitioner with experience in Agile methodologies.
- Ability to quickly learn new technologies.
- Certified CMMI Associate and ISO 9001 experience.
- Experience in ISO internal auditing and compliance checks.
- Proven experience in implementing quality standards across teams, projects, and companies.
- Excellent research and analytical skills.
- Self-motivated and thrives in a collaborative team environment.
- Able to handle multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks efficiently.

- Experience with Federal Government Customers
- Agile certification
- ISO 9001 Lead Auditor Certification
- CMMI Associate certification
