We are looking for a Services Account Executive (SAE) to champion our Professional Services offering, driving revenue through consulting and managed services for public sector customers.
Job SummaryAs the face of our Professional Services organization, you will evangelize and sell key consulting and managed services solutions, working daily with solution architects, clients, and Net App account teams. Your success will be measured by bookings performance in the territory you cover.
Responsibilities- Develop and maintain relationships with key public sector clients and Net App account teams.
- Identify customer needs and map them to appropriate Professional Services solutions.
- Deliver compelling proposals and secure contracts for Consulting and Managed Services.
- Manage your own schedule and workflow to proactively organize meetings and sales activities.
- 7+ years of quota‑bearing selling experience.
- 7+ years of direct consulting or services sales experience preferred.
- Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Executive presentation skills – comfortable leading conversations with director up to CIO‑level audiences.
- Understanding of professional services contracting or Statement of Work creation and negotiation.
- Experience selling Professional Services to U.S. Government customers.
- U.S. citizenship required.
- BS/BA with a minimum of 8 years of applicable experience; or equivalent combination of education, training, certificates, and industry experience.
- Minimum of 7 years of industry quota‑bearing selling experience.
The target salary range is $253,300 – $327,800 USD. The final package will be based on location, qualifications, and experience, and includes base salary plus potential commission. Benefits may include Health, Life, and retirement plans, paid time off, stock purchase options, and restricted stock units, subject to local variations and regulations.
