We are currently seeking a Capture and Account Manager for a full‑time hybrid position in Vienna, VA that requires an active DoD Secret clearance.

As a Capture and Account Manager, you will lead the pursuit of new business opportunities from discovery through proposal submission and final award or closeout. You will identify and qualify opportunities, conduct research and analysis, and serve as the dedicated leader for each assigned pursuit.

• Develop and nurture key business relationships in the Government marketplace.
• Oversee the pursuit of a new business opportunity once a formal decision to pursue it has been made, managing the transition from discovery to proposal process.
• Aid the business development team in identifying and qualifying new opportunities, coordinating in‑depth research and analysis.
• Promote the opportunity internally and externally to secure necessary resources.
• Develop an understanding of the opportunity, determine the offer, create strategies, and make decisions across marketing, finance, contracts, and other functions.
• Leverage business development, project management, and proposal expertise to execute the capture strategy.
• Hand the process off to Proposal Management when the capture phase is complete.

• Education & Experience
  • 7‑9 years of experience.
  • Track record of managing multiple accounts or capturing business.
  • Understanding of the DoD market sector and acquisition process.
  • Excellent written, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Ability to take on new challenges and highly technical pursuits.
• Technical Expertise
  • Technical background desired; cybersecurity expertise preferred (incident response, security engineering, or assessment and authorization).
  • Proficient with relevant technologies and tools.
  • Ability to understand competitor capabilities and position the company successfully.
    
    Strong facilitation, leadership, and communication skills to lead capture through the entire pursuit lifecycle.
  • Knowledge of Federal acquisition and contracting processes and regulations.
• Certifications
  • Active DoD Secret clearance.

• Prior military service (US Air Force preferred).
• Experience with CRM software.

• Up to 30% travel, including CONUS and OCONUS; may require overnight stays.
• Must have an active passport for OCONUS travel.

• Compliance with vaccination and medical requirements for TDY/OCONUS roles as per Vaccine Recommendations by AOR.

• Primarily an office‑based role with flexibility for walking and movement on site.
• Standard desk/computer work with occasional travel to conference rooms and other buildings.
