STIHL Technician

The STIHL Repair Technician is responsible for diagnosing, servicing, and repairing STIHL outdoor power equipment, including chainsaws, trimmers, blowers, and other gas- and battery-powered tools. This role ensures equipment is restored to safe, reliable working condition while delivering excellent customer service and technical support.

The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality workmanship. As a brand representative, the technician upholds STIHL standards for safety, performance, and customer satisfaction.

• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and fuel-system issues on STIHL equipment
• Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and warranty service
• Test equipment to ensure proper operation after repair
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation
• Communicate repair needs, timelines, and costs clearly with customers or service advisors
• Follow STIHL service guidelines and safety procedures
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

• Minimum of one year of STIHL repair experience
• Mechanical or small engine repair experience (preferred)
• Knowledge of gas and battery-powered outdoor equipment
• Ability to read service manuals and use diagnostic tools
• Strong problem-solving and time-management skills
• Basic computer skills for service documentation
• STIHL certification or willingness to obtain certification (preferred)
