We are seeking a Counselor Supervisor to join our team for the Summer 2026 season. This is a vital operational role designed for a proactive leader who thrives in a fast-paced, mobile environment and is passionate about educational excellence.
The RoleAs a Counselor Supervisor, you are the primary link between our administrative office and our camp locations. You will spend your days in the field, ensuring our staff is supported and our high standards for safety and engagement are met.
Key Responsibilities- Field Leadership: Visit approximately 4 camp locations daily across Northern Virginia to mentor counselors and monitor program quality
- Operational Oversight: Provide performance reports to the main office and facilitate the escalation of complex challenges
- Logistics & Support: Assist with equipment deliveries and ensure instructors have the supplies needed for success
- Conflict Resolution: Act as the first responder for on-site issues, including staff call-outs or behavioral management for students
- Professional Development: Attend paid training to master the Mad Science curriculum and safety protocols
We are looking for a take-charge professional who can work autonomously while maintaining strong communication with the team.
- Managerial
Experience:
1-2 years in a supervisory or leadership capacity - Youth Development: 1-2 years of experience working directly with children
- Logistics: Must have a reliable personal vehicle and a valid driver's license
- Background: Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check
- Hours: Monday - Friday 8:30 am - 4:30 pm
- Dates: June 8, 2026 - August 21, 2026
- Pay: $165 per day + mileage reimbursement
