Job Title:

Golang Developer with AWS Expertise

Bank experience or Client Financial background required. Must be local to VA/DC/MD/IL. Duration: 12+ month contract, with possible extension or conversion.

We are seeking an experienced Golang Developer with strong AWS expertise to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in developing scalable backend systems using Go (Golang), experience in cloud-native architectures, and hands‑on skills in deploying and managing applications in Amazon Web Services (AWS).

• Golang development experience.
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture and concurrent programming in Go.
• Hands‑on experience with AWS cloud platform, especially ECS/EKS, Lambda, S3, RDS, Dynamo
  
  DB, API Gateway, and Cloud Watch.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
• Proficiency with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployments.
• Familiarity with message queues (Kafka, Rabbit
  
  MQ, or SQS).
• Strong knowledge of RESTful API design and development.
• Working knowledge of SQL/No
  
  SQL databases (MySQL, Postgre
  
  SQL, Dynamo
  
  DB).
• Solid understanding of testing frameworks and code versioning best practices.

• Experience with Terraform, Cloud Formation, or Pulumi.
• Exposure to monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or New Relic.
• Knowledge of Python or Node.js for scripting or secondary automation.

• Design, develop, and deploy backend services and microservices using Golang.
• Build high‑performance, scalable, and resilient applications hosted in AWS.
• Integrate APIs, data sources, and third‑party systems using REST or gRPC.
• Work with AWS services such as Lambda, ECS, EKS, S3, EC2, Cloud Watch, Dynamo
  
  DB, RDS, API Gateway, and SNS/SQS.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, Git Lab CI/CD, or AWS Code Pipeline.
• Develop infrastructure‑as‑code using Terraform or Cloud Formation.
• Optimize application performance and reliability through monitoring, logging, and alerting (Cloud Watch, Prometheus, Grafana).
• Collaborate with Dev Ops and front‑end teams to ensure seamless system integration.
• Write unit, integration, and load tests to maintain code quality and reliability.
