Senior Java Developer

Job Type: Full time/Perm. Hybrid (3-4 days onsite, 1 day remote) in Vienna, VA. Must be eligible to obtain & maintain Top-Secret clearance and will be processed for a CI Poly clearance.

• Accurately represent customer requirements, gather and interpret relevant data and information using excellent listening, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
• Write and maintain advanced scripts using Java, JavaScript, XQuery, Python, HTML, SQL or any other scripting languages approved by the Government.
• Analyze functional business applications and design specifications for functional areas, develop block diagrams and logic flow charts.
• Translate detailed designs into computer software.
• Test, fix, and refine the computer software to produce the required product.
• Enhance software to reduce operating time or improve efficiency.
• Provide technical direction to programmers to ensure program deadlines are met.
• Assist Applications Engineer and Applications Programmer to interpret software requirements, design specifications to code, integrate, and test software components.
• Develop advanced system specifications.
• Participate in the design of software tools and subsystems to support reuse and domain analysis.

• 7+ years of related experience.
• Demonstrated ability to work in an operational environment where priorities change frequently.
• Expertise in information system design, including application programming on large-scale database management services and the development of complex software to satisfy design objectives.
• Prefer expertise working with No
  
  SQL databases.
• Prefer Java Programmer Certified.

• Must be able to obtain and maintain TS/SCI clearance with CI Poly.
• Ability to work on-site in Vienna, VA (3 days per week).
• Experience with AWS cloud environments.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong documentation and communication abilities.

• Bachelor’s degree in related field.
