Job Summary

Direct instructional relationship with the students

Carry out the laws and policies of the state and county relating to education, including the rules pertaining to the welfare of the student

Work closely with the principal in planning and implementing an excellent learning experience for students in a classroom setting

Evaluate continuously the progress of students

Develop materials to be used with the physical education program

Perform other duties as assigned by the principal

Qualifications

A valid West Virginia Teaching Certification, Licensure, and/or both in Physical Education 5-9, Health Education 5-9, or Wellness (Physical Education and Health Combined) PK-AD
Demonstrates qualifications further detailed in job description
If a fully certified candidate does not apply, those eligible for a permit will be considered. Applicant must provide documentation from the college showing their eligibility.
