Position Time Requirement:
Full-Time, non-exempt, 10 months

Level I – A.A. Degree in Early Childhood or related area and CDA or equivalent – $16.77/hour

Level II – A.A. Degree and course work equivalent to a major relating to ECE, experience working with pre-school children, or holds a Permanent State Authorization – $18.74/hour

Level III – B.A. Degree and coursework equivalent to a major relating to ECE with experience working with pre-school children – $20.51/hour

• Associate degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field, CDA or equivalent.
• Knowledge of early childhood development and developmentally appropriate preschool curriculum.
• Ability to assess children’s strengths, needs, interests, and progress.
• Effective communication, writing, organizational, and basic computer skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Written and verbal communication skills, relate well with people, and support the needs of low-income families.
• Valid Driver’s License with safe driving record or State issued .
• Must pass required background and drug screening.

• Develop and implement weekly lesson plans that meet children’s needs, interests, learning styles, and individual goals.
• Complete developmental assessments and maintain required anecdotal records for enrolled children.
• Use positive guidance strategies to support children’s confidence, self-esteem, and social-emotional development.
• Conduct required home visits and parent-teacher conferences, sharing child progress with families.
• Encourage family engagement in school readiness activities and parent volunteer opportunities.
• Maintain confidentiality, ethical conduct, professionalism, and regular attendance.
• Attend required training, in-services, meetings, and support agency/program policies and procedures.
• Complete required reports and data entry according to program timelines and policies.
• Maintain required credentials, confidentiality, ethical conduct, and professionalism in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and program policies.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
