Notice of Extra-Curricular Vacancy Position Title

(2) Homebound Instructors

Immediate Supervisor

Principal/Director of Student Support

Qualifications

Valid West Virginia Teaching Certificate (required)

Specific duties of the homebound instructor include, but are not limited to
  • deliver homebound instruction in core academics of RLA, Math, Science and Social Studies
  • provide instruction and act as liaison between the student and school;
  • documentation of attendance to secretary of home school;
  • services will be provided in home setting or agreed setting;
  • maintain logs of assignments picked up from home school and delivered back to home school.
Employment Term

2026/2027 school year. Up to 20 hours per week per instructor as student need warrants.

Salary

$35.00 per hour
