Retail Associate/ Customer Service, Stocking, Retail Support
Position Summary:
Provide member service, maintain the checkout area, resolve member issues and concerns, promote Sam’s Club products and services, give guidance and support to members regarding self‑service technology, process member purchases, and assist with payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges according to company policies and procedures for different membership and payment types. Follow company safety standards, procedures, and guidelines, including conducting safety sweeps and handling merchandise according to proper procedures.
Correct and report unsafe situations to facility management, maintain entrance and exit areas, acknowledge members, verify membership cards, and identify member needs. Assist members with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, and transporting items, while maintaining a safe shopping environment. Secure and safeguard Sam’s Club assets by observing potential criminal activity, maintain required documentation, execute emergency response procedures, and ensure compliance with company security and safety practices.
Assist with the training of Member Frontline Services associates on company processes and procedures, teach new technology and tool functionality, deliver new programs rollout training, and provide continuous learning and process improvement opportunities.
Ensure area of responsibility is maintained in accordance with company policies and procedures by properly handling returns, arranging and organizing merchandise, identifying shrink and damages, and complying with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity.
Complete work assignments and priorities using policies, data, and resources; collaborate with managers, co‑workers, customers, and other business partners; identify priorities, deadlines, and expectations; carry out tasks; communicate progress and information; determine and recommend ways to address improvement opportunities; and adapt to and learn from change, difficulties, and feedback.
Respect diversity and work as a team, build strong relationships, communicate with impact and positivity, and mentor others while maintaining the highest standards of integrity, ethics, and compliance. Serve customers and members by delivering results with customer focus, making evidence‑based decisions, balancing short‑ and long‑term priorities, and supporting continuous improvement.

The hourly wage range for this position is $17.00 to $25.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances.
