Project Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented Project Accountant to support a growing team in a project-driven environment. This role will focus on project cost tracking, billing, forecasting support, and financial reporting while partnering closely with project managers and leadership to ensure accurate financial performance throughout the project lifecycle.

• Track project budgets, costs, and profitability
• Prepare project billing
• Support forecasting, cost-to-complete analysis, and variance reporting
• Assist with month-end close, journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations
• Review vendor invoices, purchase orders, and project expenses
• Prepare project financial reports and summaries for leadership
• Support WIP reporting and assist with audit documentation
• Partner with project managers to ensure financial accuracy and compliance

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
• 3-5+ years of accounting experience, ideally in a project-based environment
• Experience with ERP/accounting systems (Sage
  300, Procore)
• Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven
• Construction accounting or job costing experience
• WIP schedules, AIA billing, or subcontractor invoicing exposure
• Experience supporting multiple projects simultaneously
