Job Description

Vision Construction and Consulting is seeking a Construction Superintendent. We offer a great compensation package, benefits, and retention bonuses. You will oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and implementation, and your team will provide services to educational, municipal, commercial, and industrial communities.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and supervise day‑to‑day operations of the project.

Supervise aggressive construction schedules and hold contractors accountable to the schedule.

Supervise subcontractors during the construction process, including labor, materials, workmanship, and quality control; hold subcontractors accountable for overall quality of their work.

Submit daily and weekly field reports.

Attend weekly contractor and construction manager meetings.

Attend weekly owner, architect, and construction manager meetings.

Implement job‑site safety requirements.

Conduct weekly job‑site safety meetings.

Qualifications

Minimum of 10 years of experience in commercial construction.

Ability to learn policies and procedures quickly.

Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point.

OSHA 10‑hour certification.

Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpretation of all contract documents, including sub‑contracts, blueprints, specification manuals, addenda, submittals, RFIs, etc.

Knowledge of scheduling and project management software (e.g., Newforma, Procore, Prolog or similar).

Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate with owners/representatives and trade subcontractors to clarify scope as written.

Professional conduct is required.

Must pass drug and background test.

Valid driver's license.

Reliable vehicle.
