Assistant Principal Districtwide

For the 2026/27 School Year 10-Month Position (195 Days)

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree with a major in education
  • Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with Administrative/Principal Endorsement
  • Completion of state-approved teacher evaluator training and qualification
  • Minimum of 5 years of successful teaching experience
  • Strong knowledge of instructional best practices, school leadership, student behavior management, and school operations
  • Strong understanding of Trauma-Informed Practices, Restorative Justice, and social-emotional learning (SEL) competencies
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills preferred
