Montessori Children’s Academy is seeking a compassionate, reliable, and nurturing Infant‑Toddler Assistant Teacher to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate is passionate about early childhood education and committed to fostering a calm, respectful, and engaging environment in alignment with Montessori principles. - Create and maintain a safe, clean, and developmentally appropriate environment for infants and toddlers.
- Assist the Lead Teacher to implement a Montessori‑inspired curriculum that promotes independence, self‑discovery, and social‑emotional growth.
- Observe and document children’s progress through authentic assessment and anecdotal records.
- Maintain daily routines that include care activities, work cycles, outdoor play, and rest periods.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and administrators to support the classroom.
- Model gentle, respectful, and responsive caregiving.
- Experience working with children ages 0–3 in a group setting.
- Understanding of child development and Montessori philosophy.
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs and meet the physical demands of working with young children.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
