Position: School Psychologist 36-week Contract *Up to 70/hr

School Psychologist

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments for students in grades K-5.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and social workers in IEP meetings to develop and implement effective support plans.
Monitor student progress and adapt interventions accordingly.
Share LEA responsibilities during IEP meetings, ensuring compliance and student-centered planning.
Maintain detailed documentation and participate in school team activities to support student success.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, or related field.
Illinois state licensure as a School Psychologist or equivalent.
Minimum 1 year of experience working in elementary school settings with familiarity handling caseloads of approximately 350 students and participation in IEP meetings alongside social workers.
Comfortable sharing LEA responsibilities during IEP meetings, strong communication and collaboration skills, and ability to adhere to school schedule and manage responsibilities in a dynamic school environment.
