Position: School Psychologist 36-week Contract *Up to 70/hr

School Psychologist

This 36-week contract position for a School Psychologist in Villa Park, Illinois offers competitive pay and comprehensive benefits while providing the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments for students in grades K-5.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and social workers in IEP meetings to develop and implement effective support plans.
  • Monitor student progress and adapt interventions accordingly.
  • Share LEA responsibilities during IEP meetings, ensuring compliance and student-centered planning.
  • Maintain detailed documentation and participate in school team activities to support student success.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, or related field.
  • Illinois state licensure as a School Psychologist or equivalent.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience working in elementary school settings with familiarity handling caseloads of approximately 350 students and participation in IEP meetings alongside social workers.
  • Comfortable sharing LEA responsibilities during IEP meetings, strong communication and collaboration skills, and ability to adhere to school schedule and manage responsibilities in a dynamic school environment.
Preferred

Skills:
  • Valid PEL or similar certification
