School Psychologist
This 36-week contract position for a School Psychologist in Villa Park, Illinois offers competitive pay and comprehensive benefits while providing the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments for students in grades K-5.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and social workers in IEP meetings to develop and implement effective support plans.
- Monitor student progress and adapt interventions accordingly.
- Share LEA responsibilities during IEP meetings, ensuring compliance and student-centered planning.
- Maintain detailed documentation and participate in school team activities to support student success.
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, or related field.
- Illinois state licensure as a School Psychologist or equivalent.
- Minimum 1 year of experience working in elementary school settings with familiarity handling caseloads of approximately 350 students and participation in IEP meetings alongside social workers.
- Comfortable sharing LEA responsibilities during IEP meetings, strong communication and collaboration skills, and ability to adhere to school schedule and manage responsibilities in a dynamic school environment.
Skills:
- Valid PEL or similar certification
