Plumbing Designer

An MEP Consulting Engineering firm in the suburbs of Chicago is looking to add a Plumbing Designer to their team!

Job Description:

+ Responsible for designing plumbing and mechanical/HVAC systems for retail, restaurant, and commercial projects

+ Main responsibility will be to lead plumbing design, but will assist with HVAC drawings on an as needed basis

+ Attend kick off meetings with clients

+ Responsible for code research

+ Will perform field surveys of existing buildings conditions

+ Produce load calculations

Qualifcations:

+ Associates or Bachelors in a related field

+ AutoCAD proficiency

+ Ability to produce plumbing and HVAC drawings independently

+ Knowledge of building codes

+ 5+ years of experience

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Oakbrook Terrace, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $33.65 - $57.69/hr.
