Exelon is seeking a Senior Engineer to join our Engineering & Design team in the Energy & Utilities sector. In this role, you will lead complex design, analysis, and implementation of power generation and distribution projects across our diverse nuclear, fossil, wind, hydro, and solar portfolio. You will provide technical leadership, mentor junior engineers, ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards, and drive innovative, sustainable solutions that support grid reliability and resilience.

Responsibilities
- Lead complex engineering and design activities for power generation, transmission, and distribution projects across Exelon's diverse energy portfolio.
- Develop and review detailed engineering designs, specifications, and technical documentation to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation of energy assets.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior and mid-level engineers, fostering a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in operations, planning, construction, and regulatory affairs to deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Evaluate system performance, conduct root cause analyses, and implement engineering solutions to improve reliability, resilience, and efficiency.
- Integrate innovative and sustainable technologies, including renewable and advanced grid solutions, into new and existing facilities.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable codes, standards, and regulations, including internal Exelon policies and industry best practices.
- Support capital planning through technical input on scope, cost estimates, risk assessments, and long-term asset strategies.
- Engage in field visits and on-site inspections to validate designs, support commissioning, and address emerging technical issues.
- Contribute to a culture of diversity, inclusion, safety, and ethical practice, actively participating in knowledge sharing and community-focused initiatives.
