What You’ll DoYour days might include:
- Keeping our rooms, halls, fitness center, gym, and common areas spotless
- Making our furniture, décor, and artwork sparkle
- Ensuring restrooms and high-touch areas stay clean and safe
- Preparing rooms for programs, events, receptions, and meetings
- Helping maintain outdoor areas, sweeping, clearing walkways, tidying grounds
- Keeping an eye out for maintenance needs and reporting anything unusual
- Using cleaning tools and equipment safely and effectively

ScheduleThis part-time, non-exempt position offers up to 20 hours per week, primarily on Saturdays and Sundays, with opportunities for additional hours as needed.
What We’re Looking For- A high school education (or equivalent knowledge)
- Previous custodial experience is great, but we’re also happy to provide training
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Strong customer service mindset
- Someone who takes safety seriously
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly (up to 100 lbs occasionally with assistance) and stay active throughout the shift
You’ll also need to pass a Village-administered medical/physical exam.

This role is active and hands-on, perfect for someone who likes to move. You may occasionally work outdoors or around various materials, and protective gear is provided when needed.
Pay & Perks- Starting pay: $20.00/hour (AFSCME Union, Part-Time Custodial)
