Program / Project Manager, Operations Manager, IT Project Manager
The Project Manager (Mid-Level) is responsible for leading and managing projects from initiation through completion. This role oversees all phases of the project lifecycle, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closing activities. The Project Manager ensures that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget while meeting quality standards and stakeholder expectations.
This position requires strong leadership, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, along with proficiency in project management tools and best practices.
Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop comprehensive project plans including scope, timelines, milestones, deliverables, and resource allocation.
Lead project teams and coordinate cross-functional activities to ensure project objectives are met.
Monitor project progress, track performance, and identify risks, issues, and dependencies.
Implement mitigation plans and drive resolution of project challenges.
Communicate regularly with stakeholders and senior leadership to provide project updates and status reports.
Manage project budgets and ensure financial targets are met.
Ensure project deliverables meet established quality standards and business requirements.
Facilitate project meetings, status reviews, and stakeholder discussions to drive progress.
Maintain accurate project documentation, including schedules, reports, action items, and project plans.
Support continuous improvement efforts by contributing to project management best practices and process enhancements.
Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
Strong project management and organizational skills.
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to lead teams and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Proficiency with project management software and tools.
Ability to manage stakeholder expectations and provide clear reporting.
Bachelor’s Degree required (engineering degree is a plus).
1–5 years of project management experience.
Experience in utilities or electric utility environments preferred.
PMP Certification is required for all Project Management roles.
Hybrid schedule: 40 hours per week, 3 days onsite and 2 days remote.
Contract role supporting capacity expansion distribution projects.
