Qualifications:

Current RN, BSN, or PEL-CSN licensure Certifications for CPR/AED Experience in school nursing and community health nursing preferred

Responsibilities:
Perform routine school nursing procedures Monitor and facilitate the health office functions Address routine and emergency health situations in the health office and school building Assess the health needs of students, administering first aid when necessary Maintain health office supplies Maintain required health records and student health data Administer medication Perform general office duties such as word processing, operating office machines, handling telephone calls, filling staff requests, delivering messages and entering computer data Perform other duties as assigned by the school nurse, principal, or administration
