1st Shift
Location:
West GA DC
Oversees the distribution operations, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of products. Manages logistics, inventory, and transportation processes to optimize distribution performance. Ensures compliance with safety standards and improves operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities- Manages day to day operations of the distribution team, ensuring timely and accurate completion of tasks while aligning with overall departmental goals.
- Leads the distribution team by assigning tasks, setting priorities, and ensuring the team meets production and distribution targets.
- Coordinates with other departments and supervisors to align distribution activities with production schedules and inventory management requirements.
- Evaluates performance of team members, providing coaching, feedback, and developmental opportunities to ensure continued growth and efficiency.
- Implements and enforces safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations and company standards.
- Develops workflow processes and strategies that optimize distribution activities, identifying areas for improvement and implementing best practices.
- Coaches less experienced staff, providing guidance and mentorship to ensure their successful integration into the distribution team.
- Assists manager in identifying and addressing operational issues and opportunities to improve overall distribution performance.
- Generates reports on distribution activities and key performance indicators, presenting data to senior management for review and decision-making.
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Complies with all policies and standards
- Manages staff performance and development, coaching team members to achieve their full potential in contributing to the department's goals.
