We are seeking an experienced and detail‑oriented Wiring Technician to join a growing manufacturing team in the Villa Rica/Douglasville area. This position is responsible for wiring, assembling, testing, and preparing industrial equipment and components while maintaining high quality and safety standards.
The ideal candidate will have strong electrical assembly experience, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
EssentialJob Duties
- Assemble electrical components and sub‑assemblies using blueprints, CAD drawings, and reference photos.
- Perform soldering and de‑soldering of electrical components.
- Wire electrical assemblies, control panels, harnesses, and equipment components.
- Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and assembly instructions.
- Inspect and prepare finished products for shipment.
- Package equipment and components using various hand tools and packaging materials.
- Communicate production delays, incomplete assemblies, or quality concerns to leadership.
- Utilize computer systems and manufacturing software to issue materials and complete production transactions.
- Meet daily production, quality, and efficiency goals.
- Safely move and handle materials throughout the production area.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 3 years of recent electrical wiring, electrical assembly, or related manufacturing experience.
- Ability to read and interpret CAD drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Knowledge of basic electrical principles and wire color coding.
- Experience using hand tools, crimpers, soldering irons, and electrical testing equipment.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail and manual dexterity.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to quality, safety, and reliability.
Preferred:
- Technical school, vocational training, or certification in Electrical Technology or a related field.
- Steel‑toe boots are required.
- Background check required.
- Drug screen required.
- Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment.
- Must be dependable with excellent attendance.
