Program OverviewTanner's Nurse Residency Program provides new nurses with the opportunity to accept a nursing position within the Tanner Health System and pairs them with some of our most experienced nursing professionals. Our nurse residents meet monthly for 12 months, supporting our newest licensed staff during the first year of employment. The program pairs hands‑on training in a clinical setting with classroom instruction, online coursework, and mentoring from our nursing experts.
A variety of topics and Tanner policies are discussed to help residents implement best practices for nursing.
Co‑horts begin in March and September.
Education RequirementsAssociate Degree or 2 years of college coursework.
Licenses & Certifications- Healthcare Provider (CPR)
- Master, Bachelor, or Associate of Science in Nursing or graduate of an approved diploma program.
- Will verify degree within 6 weeks of conferment.
- Required to pass boards within 6 months of receiving MSN, BSN, ASN, or diploma.
- BLS required within 30 days of hire.
Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Tanner Health by 2x.
