• Plays a pivotal role in providing excellent patient care in our primary care clinic for employees, the student health office and in the employee wellness program.

• Ability to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
• Perform a focused interview to access signs and symptoms including the physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Documents the patient’s plan of care using the diagnosis, expected patient outcomes and selected nursing interventions.
• Provides a safe, comfortable and therapeutic patient environment.
• Uses clinical judgment in evaluation activities to meet patient needs including the initial triage, establishing priorities for plan of care and administer medication.
• Monitors the safety and effectiveness of the environment and equipment.
• Supports professional practice by observing the following:
  1) Nurses Practice Act;
  2) Standards of Nursing Practice;
  3) Standards of Patient Care;
  4) State and Local Laws; and
  5) Patient’s Bill of Rights.
• Be self-motivated, professional, and dependable.

• Indiana Licensed Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse

• Three years of professional nursing experience

• This position is a part time which entails a work week of less than 29 hours or less than 58 hours for a bi-weekly pay period. It may require some additional hours as needed for coverage.
