Position: Outside Sales Professional (Fleet/Commercial Tire)  - Vincennes, IN

Job Summary

Fleet Tire Sales Specialist – responsible for selling new and retreaded commercial truck tires and related products and services. Manage current customer accounts, develop new accounts, achieve sales objectives, and maintain professional representation of the company. Build product knowledge through training and report market intelligence that affects business and pricing.

Starting Pay: $48,000–$60,000 Base + Commission (Average $60,000–$120,000 yearly)

Responsibilities
  • Actively seek and develop new accounts and represent the company to potential customers.
  • Frequent local travel from customer sites to establish and further build relationships.
  • Sell company-supported products and services.
  • Meet sales goals set by management.
  • Develop and maintain thorough knowledge of products and services to provide accurate information to customers.
  • Evaluate customer needs and make recommendations using a value-sell approach.
  • Attend sales training and continually build product knowledge.
  • Perform a variety of manual tasks for extended periods, including light and heavy lifting of commercial tires and wheels, standing, bending, sitting and squatting.
  • Create or increase truck tire sales through a planned program of regular solicitation.
  • Schedule fleet service appointments and coordinate with the service department.
  • Conduct fleet needs evaluations and provide customers with cost analysis and benefits.
  • Ensure prompt resolution of tire adjustments and appropriate handling of customer casings.
  • Deliver tires to customers as needed.
Basic Requirements
  • At least 2 years of successful Sales and/or B2B experience.
  • Valid driver's license for the vehicle type required and ability to meet commercial driver qualification requirements.
  • Minimum age of 21.
  • No relocation is offered for this position.
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future.
Preferred Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Associate Degree in a related field.
  • Previous business-to-business sales experience.

  • Commitment to follow all safety procedures and work in a safe manner.
  • Ability to work in a results-oriented, fast-paced team environment.
  • Self-starter, initiative-driven, able to work without direct supervision, and willing to attend appropriate training sessions.
