Access Control Security Officer

Wage: $19.10/hour

Must have dispatch experience. Schedule includes rotating 12‑hour shifts: 5:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. or 5:00 p.m.–5:00 a.m.

• Observe and report activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing safety for client property and personnel.
• Perform frequent sitting, standing, and walking, which may be required for long periods of time, including climbing stairs and walking on uneven terrain.
• Perform frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds.

Securitas plays an essential role for our clients and in society. The Security Officer position helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site, including personnel, visitors, and the area. Frequently our Security Officers will provide customer service and information to a client’s employees and customers.
