Social Service Coordinator
Works with Social Service Manager in coordination with Care Management and Medical Staff and Nursing Service in providing social services to hospital patients and their families. The position requires knowledge of the age and developmentally specific needs of the child through geriatric population. Functions within the Care Management Department.

Job Duties:
- Participates in P.I. projects as requested by Social Services Manager.
Secondary Job Duties That May be Reassigned:
- Counsels and refers in coordination with medical and nursing staff all cases of child abuse and neglect, adult abuse and neglect, dialysis arrangements and adoption/surragacy coordination.
Job Specifications:
- Education:
Bachelor's degree in Social Work or related field.
- Experience:
Two years of hospital Social Work experience preferred
