Sexual Assault Response Advocate

Hope's Voice | CFS, Corp.

Knox and Daviess Counties, Indiana | Full-Time, Exempt

Be the Voice That Answers

When someone experiences sexual violence, the first person who shows up matters. At Hope's Voice, our advocates are that first point of support: present at the hospital, alongside survivors in the justice process, and connected to a coordinated community response that puts survivors first. We are seeking an experienced, compassionate advocate to lead this work across Knox and Daviess Counties.

What You Will Do

You will provide crisis intervention and comprehensive case management to survivors of sexual assault and their families. You will facilitate and lead the Sexual Assault Response Team (SART) in both counties, bringing together law enforcement, prosecutors, health care providers, and social service partners to strengthen how our communities respond to sexual violence. You will represent Hope's Voice in the community through outreach and awareness efforts, stay current on research-based prevention strategies and emerging trends, and share on-call rotation for the Hope's Voice crisis hotline and after-hours client response.

What

You Bring
  • Five years of social service experience, with a background in sexual assault services
  • A strong understanding of the dynamics of sexual violence and trauma-informed care
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and confidence working with community partners
  • Sound judgment, composure under pressure, and accurate documentation practices
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and standard office applications
  • A valid driver's license, reliable registered vehicle, and auto liability insurance (minimum $100,000/$300,000)

ICESAHT Core-40 certification is preferred; training is provided at hire for the right candidate.

Why Hope's Voice
  • Lead a SART initiative with real influence on regional systems change
  • Join a Joint Commission accredited organization grounded in evidence-based practice
  • Ongoing professional development, including annual training and certification support
  • Mileage reimbursement for work travel
