Roadside Technician Commercial Tire - Vincennes, IN at The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company.

• Respond to tire-related failures as an emergency roadside technician for semi-truck fleets; dispatched to the customer's location to repair or change the tire. A Technician is expected to be roadside when performing job duties.
• When no service calls are pending, assist with mounting orders, cleaning and organizing the shop, and other general duties as needed.
• Participate in a mandatory on-call rotation; during on-call periods, run after-hours service calls with a 95% acceptance rate, including weekends and nights.
• Time worked in after-hours service calls is paid at double-time, with a minimum of 2 hours per call. Example: if a Technician accepts, arrives, and completes a call in 45 minutes, they receive an additional 1 hour 15 minutes of double-time pay.
• Perform servicing of commercial tires including dismounting, mounting, repairing, match mounting, match mating dual assemblies, radial runout checks, and inflating tires to prescribed PSI per load requirements.
• Comply with OSHA regulations and safety requirements, including wearing proper PPE, using tire cages, and following all safety policies and procedures.

• Basic:
  Valid driver’s license and meet commercial driver qualification requirements; must be at least 21 years of age; legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future.
• Preferred:
  High School Diploma or GED; previous Commercial Service Tire experience.
