The ELA/English teacher will plan and provide appropriate learning experiences for students in an alternate educational setting. The certified teacher in this position is responsible for helping to create a learning environment that provides specialized instruction for a small group of students who may need: 1:1 guidance and/or small group instruction, lessons & activities for a variety of learning styles, and someone who is patient and flexible.
Hours:
Approximately M-F, 8:15-2:30, 1/2 lunch, hourly rates from $44-$46 depending on experience
Job Type: Part time
Responsibilities- Help to develop lesson plans, assignments and activities that reflect individual needs, goals, and objectives.
- Establish and follow routine and schedule to provide maximum learning time.
- Establish and maintain an environment conducive to learning.
- Utilize appropriate curricula, materials, and behavioral techniques.
- Complete all required paperwork in a professional and timely manner.
- Always supervise students in the classroom.

Requirements- NJ Teacher Certification (CEAS & CE OK!)
