Qualifications:

• Must possess NJ Certification. If not certified, refer to the NJ Department of Education website for certification procedures.
• Alternate route candidates (“Certificate of Eligibility”) must complete 50 hours of pre‑service training through a DOE approved CE educator program before interview. Certificate must be uploaded to the Appli Track portal for consideration.
• Must become a NJ resident within one year of starting the position as per P.L. 2011, c. 70.
• Candidate must undergo a background check reviewing the last twenty years of employment history for child abuse or sexual misconduct allegations (S-414/A-3188).
