RequirementsIn order to be considered for an instructional position, you must possess NJ Certification. If you do not have certification, please refer to the NJ Department of Education website for details on obtaining the necessary certificate.
Alternate route candidates (Certificate of Eligibility) must show completion of 50 hours of pre‑service training through a DOE approved CE educator program prior to being interviewed for a position. The certificate of completion must be uploaded into the Appli Track portal to be considered. Applicants must become a NJ resident within one year of starting the position as per P.L. 2011, c. 70.
