Multi-Site Advanced Manufacturing Organization | United States
A growing, privately held manufacturer with several U.S. production facilities is seeking a Director of Engineering to lead engineering strategy, process improvement, and capital initiatives across its operations.
This is a highly visible leadership role for someone who enjoys improving processes, building standards, and driving operational excellence within a regulated manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities- Lead engineering activities across multiple manufacturing sites
- Drive process optimization, continuous improvement, and standardization efforts
- Oversee capital projects, tooling development, and change control management
- Partner with Operations and Quality teams to improve performance and efficiency
- Develop engineering standards, documentation, and best practices
- Mentor and lead engineering teams
- Engineering leadership experience in manufacturing
- GMP and ISO 9001 experience required
- Lean Manufacturing / Six Sigma background preferred
- Experience with change control and engineering documentation
- Experience supporting molds, tooling, or model development with design / drafting teams
- Ability to improve processes within clean manufacturing or similarly controlled environments
- Multi-site leadership exposure
