Financial Manager, CFO
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will initially serve as a key strategic partner to the current CFO and executive leadership team, with a planned transition into the CFO role after approximately one year. During this transition period, the individual will play a critical role in supporting and shaping the organization’s financial strategy amid significant growth.
This executive will provide both strategic and operational leadership across all aspects of the finance function, including financial reporting, accounting, audits, cost management, treasury, compliance, and risk management. The role is designed to ensure continuity, knowledge transfer, and long‑term leadership stability while preparing to assume full CFO responsibilities.
Success in this position requires a balance of strategic foresight and hands‑on execution, particularly within a dynamic, multi‑site manufacturing environment.
Strategic Financial Leadership- Develop and execute financial strategies that support revenue growth, margin expansion, and cash flow optimization.
- Partner with executive leadership to drive budgeting, forecasting, and long‑term financial planning.
- Provide financial insight and strategic guidance to support data‑driven decision‑making across the organization.
- Oversee all accounting, finance, and reporting functions, ensuring accuracy, transparency, GAAP and regulatory compliance.
- Oversee treasury functions, including liquidity management, working capital optimization, and internal controls to support a growing organization.
- Direct monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and transparency.
- Act as a strategic advisor to leadership on financial performance, cost optimization, and scalability.
- Collaborate with operational leaders to align financial goals with business execution.
- Build, mentor, and lead a high‑performing finance and accounting team.
- Implement scalable financial systems, processes, and controls to support continued growth.
- Champion continuous improvement, digitalization, and process optimization in finance operations.
- Foster a culture of integrity, accountability, and collaboration.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required; MBA or CPA preferred.
- 15+ years of progressive finance leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a senior finance role in a manufacturing or industrial environment required.
- Experience partnering closely with executive leadership and internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, decision‑making, and communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, ERP systems, and financial reporting tools.
- Strong background in financial planning, modeling, forecasting, and operational finance.
This role operates in a professional office environment with periodic travel to manufacturing sites and is primarily sedentary, involving extended computer use and communication across locations. The individual must be able to navigate office and production settings and meet essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
