CHHA, Certified Home Health Aide

We are recruiting to serve patients in Camden, Burlington, Gloucester, Cumberland, and Salem counties in BAYADA’s ACSP Division. Training available for CHHA certification. Interviews are available now, with day, evening, and weekend shifts.

• Follow a written plan of care by a registered nurse and provide personal care services, household support, and companion care to help adults stay safe and independent at home.
• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, toileting, nail care, etc.).
• Provide light housekeeping, laundry, bed making, meal preparation and feeding, and range-of-motion exercises.
• Assist with ambulation (transfers and use of mechanical lifting devices) and provide medication reminders.

• Previous home health care or patient care experience is welcome but not required; training is provided.
• Passion for caregiving and helping others; commitment to quality care.
• Empathy, patience, kindness, and respect.
• Ability to travel to clients’ homes as assigned.

• Minimum one year work experience (preferred but not required).
• Current HHA license in good standing with the board.

• Provide personal care, light housekeeping, bathing, grooming, toileting, nail care.
• Administer range-of-motion exercises and assist with transfers and ambulation.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding; perform vital sign checks as needed.
• Support home management tasks: laundry, meal preparation, bed making, etc.
• Medication assistance and other care duties as required by the plan of care.
