Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. The RBT will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities and behavioral health challenges. This position involves implementing behavior intervention plans, collecting data, and ensuring compliance with medical documentation standards while maintaining confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.

Responsibilities
  • Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
  • Collect and record data on client progress, behaviors, and responses to interventions.
  • Maintain accurate medical documentation and manage medical records in compliance with HIPAA guidelines.
  • Provide direct patient care, supporting clients in daily activities and promoting their independence.
  • Assist in the development of care plans tailored to each client's needs and goals.
  • Engage with children and individuals with developmental disabilities to foster a supportive environment.
  • Utilize behavior management techniques to address challenging behaviors effectively.
  • Collaborate with team members to review client progress and adjust interventions as necessary.
Qualifications
  • Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is preferred or willingness to obtain certification.
  • Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of behavior management principles and behavioral health practices.
  • Proficiency in data collection methods and medical documentation processes.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with clients, families, and team members.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment while demonstrating patience and empathy towards clients.
