The Role
We are seeking a senior enterprise sales professional to join Damco's Sales function as VP or AVP of Sales Technology & AI. This is a hunter-first role: the primary mandate is to originate, develop, and close new business across Damco's Technology and AI services portfolio, with a target of $5M in bookings in FY 2026
27. The role reports to Partner Enterprise Growth & Strategic Sales.
You are expected to run your own pipeline, engage directly with CTO, VP Engineering, CDO, and CISO-level buyers, and bring the kind of technical credibility that opens doors in a market flooded with AI consultancies making undifferentiated promises. The ability to have a genuinely informed conversation about AI
implementation what is real, what is ready, and what creates enterprise-grade business value is what will set you apart.

Key Responsibilities
PIPELINE & BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
" Originate and develop a pipeline of new Technology & AI opportunities across Damco's target verticals, focusing primarily on net-new logo acquisition
" Own the full sales cycle from first contact through signed SOW qualification, discovery, solution scoping, commercial negotiation, and close
" Build and maintain a $12M 15M pipeline to support $5M in annual bookings
" Identify and prioritize target accounts where AI-led development, agentic systems, or product engineering mandates are actively in scope

AI - LED SOLUTION SELLING
" Sell Damco's AI Strategy & Implementation services: enterprise AI readiness assessments, AI architecture design, and production-grade AI deployment programs
" Sell GenAI application development engagements: LLM-based product builds, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) implementations, multi-modal AI applications, and custom model fine-tuning
" Sell agentic AI and MCP (Model Context Protocol) development: autonomous agent frameworks, multiagent orchestration systems, and enterprise-grade MCP server development that enables AI systems to interact with business data and tools at scale
" Sell AI-native application development: cloud-native builds where AI is a first-class architectural component from day one, not a bolt-on addition to legacy systems
" Sell product engineering mandates: full-cycle product builds, QA automation (including AI-assisted testing), Dev Ops enablement, and platform engineering
" Engage as a credible peer at the executive level; translate complex AI and engineering capabilities into business outcome narratives productivity gains, automation ROI, cost reduction, and competitive differentiation that resonate with enterprise buyers

COLLABORATION
" Work within the Sales function alongside peer salespeople; participate in monthly pipeline reviews and contribute to overall targets
" Introduce cross-sell opportunities into existing accounts where Technology & AI capabilities are relevant alongside other practice areas
" Co-develop RFP responses, solution proposals, and client presentations with Damco's pre-sales, AI practice, and delivery leadership

MARKET INTELLIGENCE & GTM CONTRIBUTION
" Maintain deep awareness of the AI and enterprise technology landscape: LLM platforms (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini, Meta Llama), AI infrastructure (Azure AI, AWS Bedrock, Google Vertex), agent frameworks (Lang Chain, CrewAI, Auto Gen), and the rapidly evolving MCP ecosystem
" Track enterprise AI adoption trends by vertical: where buyers are in their AI maturity curve, what use cases are generating ROI, and where the next wave of implementation spend is forming
" Provide market feedback to Sr. Leadership and the AI practice team to inform GTM strategy, service packaging, and capability roadmap
" Contribute to Damco's Technology & AI practice collateral, case study development, and thought leadership as the commercial voice of the practice

Compensation & Structure
Compensation Overview:
Base + OTE on 100% quota ($5M) achieved + Incentive on booked revenue
