Daily operations move quickly, and you will often shift between inside and outside work as needs arise.

The ideal candidate stays focused, learns quickly, communicates well, and adapts to changing conditions throughout the day. Site Managers remain the primary decision makers, but this role plays an important part in supporting them and keeping the site efficient and organized.

What You Will Do Site Oversight
  • Maintain a steady presence throughout the building
  • Walk halls, rooms, and active work areas multiple times a day
  • Identify issues early and correct them as you go
  • Ensure materials, equipment, and people are in the right places
  • Support the overall flow of work inside the building
Exterior Site Oversight
  • Monitor outdoor staging areas, walkways, ramps, and parking zones
  • Keep exterior access points clear and safe
  • Coordinate outdoor truck arrivals when needed
  • Walk exterior pathways to identify and correct hazards
  • Support outdoor storage areas and coordinate deliveries
  • Address debris, pallets, cardboard, and blocked paths
  • Assist with weather‑related tasks
  • Direct visitors, drivers, and subcontractors as needed
Delivery and Dock Coordination
  • Oversee truck arrivals, unloading, staging, and material flow
  • Work with the Dock Lead, forklift operators, runners, and receiving staff
  • Make sure materials reach proper locations without blocking pathways
  • Step in when support is needed to keep deliveries moving
PPE and Site Rules
  • Ensure workers follow required PPE standards
  • Correct issues immediately
  • Make sure visitors and subcontractors follow gate access, sticker rules, and site movement guidelines
Team Coordination and Delegation
  • Assist Site Managers and the Dock Lead with daily priorities
  • Work closely with a team of site workers across different roles
  • Delegate tasks clearly and based on skill and availability
  • Break work into simple steps so tasks are completed correctly
  • Take ownership of assigned responsibilities and follow through
  • Communicate clearly so Site Managers know what has been handled
  • Stay composed and effective in a quick‑paced environment
  • Adapt quickly when priorities change
  • Stay hands on, stepping in to help crews when needed
Housekeeping and Site Upkeep
  • Keep trash, straps, cardboard, and debris picked up throughout the site
  • Ensure Data Halls, corridors, and common areas follow the cleaning schedule
  • Make sure bins do not back up or block pathways
  • Help maintain a professional, safe site environment
  • Lock up tools and equipment at the end of the day
  • Report repeated issues or hazards to the Site Managers
Building Knowledge and Site Awareness
  • Learn the full layout of the facility, including Mechanical Rooms, Electrical Rooms, Data Halls, corridors, and roof access points
  • Understand what each room does and why it matters
  • Identify restricted, sensitive, and high‑traffic areas
  • Know proper storage locations and areas that must stay clear
  • Notice patterns, potential problems, and areas needing attention
  • Build knowledge for future opportunities in deeper oversight or site operations
Communication
  • Keep Site Managers updated on key issues
  • Maintain steady communication with the dock team, Security, and support staff
  • Take notes or photos to document issues or progress
What Good Performance Looks Like

  • Workers follow PPE and access rules
  • Tasks are delegated clearly and completed without confusion
  • You stay focused and effective in a quick‑paced environment
  • You are hands on and ready to help the team wherever needed
  • You support the Site Management team and help lighten their daily load
  • You work well with a group of site workers and keep tasks moving
  • Tools and equipment are secured at day’s end
  • Issues are handled early, reducing friction across the site
