SP Industries Inc. is expanding our team in Vineland, NJ and have an immediate opening for a Planning & Systems Analyst.
The Planning & Systems Analyst is responsible for leading and optimizing production planning processes, ERP system functionality, and data-driven performance management within a manufacturing environment. This role ensures alignment between customer demand, operational capacity, inventory strategy, and business objectives by leveraging enterprise systems and analytical insights. The Analyst drives continuous improvement through disciplined planning practices, data integrity, KPI development, and cross-functional collaboration.
Acting as a strategic partner to operations and leadership, this position translates complex operational data into actionable insights that enhance efficiency, strengthen system capabilities, and support informed decision-making across the organization.
- Develop, manage, and optimize production plans to align with customer demand, capacity, and inventory targets.
- Optimize ERP system functionality to enhance planning accuracy, data visibility, and operational efficiency.
- Translate operational data into actionable insights to support leadership decision-making.
- Develop and maintain reporting tools and performance metrics that drive accountability and continuous improvement.
- Identify and implement process enhancements that improve planning effectiveness and reduce operational inefficiencies.
- Partner cross-functionally with operations, supply chain, finance, and leadership to align systems and planning strategies.
- Drive a data-centric culture by promoting disciplined planning practices and fact-based decision‑making.
- Ensure data integrity and governance within planning systems to maintain accuracy and reliability of business information.
- Evaluate capacity planning, inventory strategy, and material flow to improve service levels and working capital performance.
- Lead root cause analysis efforts related to planning variances, system inaccuracies, and operational disruptions.
- Standardize planning processes and system workflows to improve consistency, scalability, and operational alignment.
- Monitor and analyze forecast accuracy, schedule adherence, and inventory performance to drive measurable improvement.
- Present planning performance, system insights, and improvement initiatives to executive leadership in a clear and strategic manner.
- ERP experience required (planning modules, reporting, optimization).
- Proven planning experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing operations and production workflows.
- Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement experience preferred.
- Data and process improvement driven mindset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, specifically Excel (pivot tables, lookups, formulas) and PowerPoint.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with production teams through executive leadership.
- Laboratory consumables manufacturing experience a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field preferred.
- Equivalent combination of education and relevant manufacturing/ERP experience may be considered.

- Assist in investigating accidents/incidents.
- Refrain from engaging in any prank, contest, feat of strength, unnecessary running or rough and boisterous conduct.
