About the Role:

The QC Support role is integral to maintaining and enhancing the quality standards of our products and services within the organization. This position focuses on supporting the Quality Control team by conducting detailed inspections, data analysis, and documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory and company standards. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with production, engineering, and quality assurance teams to identify issues, recommend improvements, and help implement corrective actions.

By providing timely and accurate quality data and insights, the QC Support professional helps drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance product reliability and customer satisfaction. Ultimately, this role ensures that all products meet the highest quality benchmarks before reaching the market, safeguarding the company’s reputation and operational excellence.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent;
  Associate's degree or higher in a related field preferred.
• Basic understanding of quality control principles and methodologies.
• Proficiency in using standard office software such as Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures accurately.
• Effective communication skills to document findings and collaborate with team members.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in a quality control or quality assurance role within a manufacturing or production environment.
• Familiarity with quality management systems such as ISO 9001.
• Knowledge of statistical process control (SPC) and root cause analysis techniques.
• Ability to use specialized quality inspection tools and software.
• Certification in quality control or related disciplines (e.g., ASQ Certified Quality Improvement Associate).

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and detailed quality inspections of products and materials according to established protocols.
• Assist in the collection, analysis, and reporting of quality data to identify trends and potential areas for improvement.
• Support the Quality Control team in documenting non-conformances and coordinating corrective and preventive actions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality standards are understood and consistently applied throughout the production process.
• Maintain accurate records of quality tests, inspections, and audits to ensure compliance with internal and external requirements.

Skills:

In this role, the candidate will apply their attention to detail and analytical skills daily to inspect products and identify deviations from quality standards. Communication skills are essential for effectively documenting inspection results and collaborating with various teams to resolve quality issues. Proficiency with data analysis tools enables the candidate to interpret quality metrics and contribute to continuous improvement efforts. Familiarity with quality management systems and inspection technologies supports efficient and accurate quality assessments.
