  • Develop and implement a plan to maximize net sales of BIPI and co-promoted diabetes products
  • Conduct business with targeted healthcare providers and community hospitals, with potential responsibilities in teaching hospitals, federal and military hospitals, managed healthcare facilities, group purchasing organizations, and integrated delivery networks
  • Influence targeted healthcare professionals to support promoted diabetes products
  • Execute brand strategies and deliver sales and marketing messages appropriately
  • Coordinate communication and cooperation with co-promotion partners and BIPI employees
  • Complete pre-call plans, build discussions around customer needs, and conduct follow-up discussions
  • Develop customer networks and maintain ongoing customer trust
  • Engage healthcare providers through personal and non-personal channels
  • Discuss payer environment, co-pays, and formulary access with customers
  • Work with Managed Care Area Managers to support products on MCO formularies
  • Deliver continuation-of-care models, including discharge protocols, treatment algorithms, and disease management
  • Analyze territory information and local market conditions to optimize territory plans and customer calls
  • Allocate and monitor resources including samples, co-pay cards, speaker-program funds, and in-office meal funds
  • Identify and develop thought leaders, innovators, advocates, and trained speakers
  • Manage programs and budgets within standards
  • Collaborate with account, medical, and other customer-facing teams to meet customer needs and net sales objectives
  • Complete administrative responsibilities and all required sales training
  • Conduct business in compliance with applicable regulations and company policies
  • Report observed violations to management
  • Maintain high ethical and professional standards
  • Deliver compliant sales presentations through video, phone, and digital media applications
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is preferred
  • Minimum of two years of successful sales and/or marketing experience in pharmaceutical/healthcare, pharmacy, B2B, customer engagement services, or equivalent
  • Diabetes therapeutic-area experience preferred
  • History of successful performance
  • Meet key competency expectations for the role
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, and database applications
  • Ability to travel, including possible overnight travel
  • Reside in the territory geography or be willing to relocate
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
  • Authorization and ability to drive a company-leased or authorized rental vehicle
  • Daily travel within the territory with multiple stops and visits to office buildings, hospitals, and clinics
  • Ability to pass state motor vehicle vision requirements
  • Ability to work with external and internal customers
  • Ability to work with diverse groups, interact with medical practitioners and business partners, and manage stress and conflict
  • Ability to learn and retain complex material, pass product and disease-knowledge tests, and deliver clear, accurate verbal content to physicians in compliance with regulations
  • Work at least 40 hours per week with morning and evening flexibility
  • Ability to function in a self-directed work environment
  • Proficiency in remote customer engagements via video conferencing
  • Ability to deliver clear and compliant remote sales presentations using video, phone, and digital media
  • Eligible and authorized under U.S. Export Laws to be employed by the company and receive required technology
