Worship Pastor

Position Summary Mineral Springs Baptist Church is seeking a full‑time Worship Pastor to lead and shepherd our worship ministry in a manner that is biblically grounded, Christ‑centered, which engages the congregation in faithful worship. This role provides leadership for congregational worship through service planning, musical leadership, and volunteer development.

Mineral Springs Baptist Church has two services each Sunday Morning. The first being a traditional service, the Worship Pastor will lead congregational singing, as well as the choir. The second service is a contemporary band led service where the worship pastor will help lead also.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and lead engaging worship services
• Cultivate a Christ‑honoring worship culture that encourages spiritual growth and is marked by humility and authenticity.
• Recruit, train, and shepherd volunteer musicians and audio/visual team members.
• Prepare song lists, charts, and lyrics for weekly rehearsals and services; conduct weekly rehearsals.
• Lead worship for Sunday morning and evening services and coordinate music for special services as needed.
• Work with audio/visual team to present quality services.

Qualifications

• Strong personal walk with Christ and agreement with the Baptist Faith & Message 2000.
• Meets the biblical qualifications for pastoral leadership (1 Tim. 3:1-7; Titus 1:6-9).
• Ability to lead congregational worship vocally.
• Experience leading worship in both traditional and contemporary contexts.
• Ability to disciple, mentor, and develop worship ministry volunteers.
• Bachelor’s degree or ministry training in the area of worship; equivalent ministry experience considered.

Compensation will be based on education and experience.
