Take an active role in building and supporting our new US finance organization and help shape scalable financial and operational processes from day one. The Accounting & Finance Manager role goes far beyond traditional accounting responsibilities, it combines operational finance, process development, ERP involvement, and cross-functional coordination in a highly dynamic environment.

You will work closely with international teams, external partners, and local collaborators while helping shape the financial backbone of a growing organization. We are looking for someone who enjoys taking ownership, building structures, solving problems pragmatically, and advancing topics in a fast-moving set-up phase.

As our US division grows, the position offers valuable development chances, increased duties, and the chance to impact upcoming finance structures and workflows.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for the establishment and growth of accounting and finance operations in the US

• Act as Finance Key User during the Microsoft Dynamics ERP implementation

• Build the future accounting, tax, and controlling team of the company in the mid-term

• Coordinate accounting, tax, treasury, and payment-related processes

• Collaborate with external tax advisors, service providers, and local partners

• Perform payments and oversee liquidity planning

• Develop scalable and efficient finance frameworks and processes

• Manage the transition from external accounting support to an internal finance setup

• Safeguard accounting and tax governance for the 3 US entities

• Prepare financial statements on a monthly basis, perform financial analysis as well as provide reporting information

• Align with HQ in Austria and other foreign Group companies

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field

• 10+ years of experience in accounting, finance operations, or related finance functions, roles in leadership preferred

• Understanding of international business set-ups and professional track record within global companies

• Hands-on mentality and willingness to work operationally in a fast-paced startup environment

• Entrepreneurial approach with the ability to take ownership and help build structures in a growing organization

• Strong background in Microsoft Dynamics 365 is advantageous

• Solid knowledge of federal, state, and local tax systems in the US

• Excellent communication and coordination skills

• Accurate, diligent, and energetic great teammate

• Experience in a global setting and/or in an e-commerce business is a plus

• Fluency in English, German and/or Spanish is an advantage
