Salary Range: $22.00 To $28.00 Hourly

• Welds all sub-assemblies together.
• Reads blueprints to assure proper weld lengths, and weld fillet size.
• Weld the complete assembly.
• Performs occasional grinding on parts or on welds.
• May install inner parts and components as needed.
• Occasionally uses the D.A. or grinder when necessary.
• Complies to established company policies and procedures.
• Meets expectations for attendance and punctuality.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or general education degree
• Six months to one year related experience and/or training
• Welding Certification

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.

• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form
• Ability to read a tape measure.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Ability to use different types of machinery and tools, including hand tools, on an everyday basis.
• Demonstrable MIG welding skill and knowledge, including the different settings on the welder power pack and their functions.
• Ability to do any given job at a reasonable pace.
• Willing to take the initiative to learn other jobs and sub-work assemblies and have the initiative to do them when they need to be done.

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• ability to wear proper PPE

• Full-time role based in Vinton, IA
• Monday - Thursday 6:30am - 5pm
• Some overtime may be required
