Regional Sales Engineer

Dorsett Controls seeks a Regional Sales Engineer to drive growth in the Water & Utilities sector. You'll blend technical expertise with consultative selling, promoting advanced electrical control and automation solutions. Responsibilities include managing a regional territory, qualifying opportunities, leading technical presentations, developing proposals, and supporting system integration projects in coordination with engineering and project teams. You'll gather customer requirements, provide feedback to product development, and forecast sales.

Ideal candidates have strong SCADA/PLC knowledge, utilities experience, and the ability to build long-term client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow a regional sales territory in the Water & Utilities market
• Identify, qualify, and close opportunities for control and automation solutions
• Conduct site visits, needs assessments, and technical discovery with clients
• Develop and deliver technical presentations, demos, and proposals
• Collaborate with engineering teams to scope and price control system projects
• Support integration, commissioning, and troubleshooting as needed
• Maintain accurate pipeline, forecasting, and CRM records
• Gather customer feedback and relay to product and engineering teams
• Represent Dorsett Controls at industry events, trade shows, and conferences
• Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships
