Drive a diesel-powered truck and trailer to pick up, transport, and deliver scrap metal safely and in a timely manner;
Hook and unhook trailers from the tractor and operate landing gear;
Inspect truck and trailers for defects and report condition at end of day or when switching equipment;
Maintain required transportation paperwork and logs to comply with State and Federal regulations;
Communicate with law enforcement and company personnel when necessary and ensure all required documentation is accompanying shipments
