Location: Virginia Beach, VA (fully onsite)
Type: Contract
Compensation: $45-50/hr
Our client, a property management firm, is looking to add a interim Accounting Manager to their growing team. This opportunity sits in the client's Virginia Beach headquarters five days a week. A bachelor's degree and experience in the real estate or property management field is required.
- Oversee accounting timelines and deliverables to ensure deadlines are met
- Review work prepared by staff and senior accountants for accuracy and completeness
- Manage and participate in month-end close activities
- Prepare and post journal entries
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations and general ledger reviews
- Conduct variance analysis and provide explanations for account activity
- Maintain and monitor recurring general ledger activities
- Track and reconcile utility-related accounting activity
- Ensure financial statements and reconciliations are completed accurately and on time
- Prepare and support financial reporting requirements
