Finance and Accounting – Virginia Beach, VA

Responsible for the accurate and timely processing of vendor invoices and payments supporting CBN’s global ministry operations. Ensures financial integrity, strong vendor relationships, and efficient payment practices.

• 2+ years of accounts payable or related accounting experience
• Working knowledge of accounts payable processes, procedures, and internal controls
• Understanding of basic accounting principles and best practices
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (sorting formulas and data management) and ability to learn new financial systems
• Experience with ERP systems (Epicor or similar)
• Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in data entry and financial processing
• Effective verbal and written communication skills with ability to interact professionally with internal staff and external vendors
• Strong customer service orientation with a collaborative and solutions-focused approach
• Excellent organizational and time management skills to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Self‑motivated and able to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexible and able to work well under pressure and consistently meet deadlines
• Demonstrated application of Biblical principles in alignment with CBN’s nonprofit Christian mission
